It has always interested Corporate Leaders as to how the Day today expertise / information of their organization be culmitated into a Collective Knowledge.  Ehrlich and Cash  presented this paper in the year 1994., but its contents continue to be relevant in view of latest interest of professionals, scientists and general public in e-resources, e-books and Digital Libraries.  Authors proclaim that Lotus Notes Software – a broad based software  environment tailored for access to Distributed Databases and Electronic Communications would be known in future as the “Foundation of  a Virtual Library”.
