Dorris Lessing is no more …. Passed away at the age of 94.
The oldest winner of Noble Prize for Literature at the age of 88 is no
more. Interest to note is , she had
formal schooling upt 14 years only and worked as Nanny, Telephonist, Office
Worker, Stenographer and Journalist. It
is not necessary that, to be a great literary figure one needs to have a great
background, have higher and great education from Schools and Institutions like Harvard
and Cambridge. Her most known books are
: “The Grass is Singing” and “Golden Note Books”.
